Like so many others, I registered for a drawing at the mall. It was only a means of gathering my personal information so they could try and sell me a water purification system.

The sales person came to my house, did his pitch, and got upset with me when I refused to buy the system. He argued with me in my kitchen for about 8 minutes. He also tried to guilt me into buying the system by implying I didn't care about my family's health".

I also told him that I needed to do my own research before I made such a large financial commitment/. It is quite suspicious that this company gives so many incentives for people to make a purchase without any time to think about it or research it?.

It is idiotic to make such a large purchase without anytime to look into it:. That is why this is a scam|. They are afraid to let people research the company and the product". For those people who have had pleasant buying experiences, that is called luck:. They did not know what they were buying,.

It is impossible to be an informed consumer with a scheme like this. 1290f82

I totally agree. We got a call from Bueno neighbor that told us we were going to receive $50 in restaurant gift certificates as well as a free water testing. There was to be no SALES pitch whatsoever according to Bueno Neighbor. Well... the sales guy arrives at my house ans proceeds to tell me he is not a sales guy - he is an advertiser. OK bud, I am in marketing, you are doing a sales pitch at my house with slides, you are a sales guy. Then he opens up his water testing briefcase which looked like a magic act. There was no discussion of the chemicals he was putting in my tap water that made it look so contaminated. In fact, I knew more about water and toxins thant this salesperson! Just by having a discussion about alkaline water and flouride I knew this guy did know squat about water and was just here to show me how bad and hard my water is. Now, I am currently looking into a home purification system so I was interested in having him come and do the demonstration. However, when I was told that I needed to make a decision on the spot - a $6000 decision, I was turned off immediately. In fact, my husband almost kicked the guy right out the door. How dare you say you aren't a slaes person and then push us to make a $6000 purchase on the spot! Did he think we weren't going to do any due diligence? We were the type of people to just throw $6000 into something we didn't research? Assinine if you ask me. The sales guy also made it a point that my husband be present the entire time the demonstration was going on. I think part of the scam is that they need to have the financial deicsion maker present because its so much $$. But I found it insulting and discriminatory. How the *** does this guy know who the bread winner is? I was pissed at this point. Then he makes a totally staged phonecall into the home office to see if he can get us more discounts. It was such bullshit we asked him to leave. Before he left he gave me a $25 card for restaurant.com and I told him I was supposed to get $50. So he wastes 2 hours of my time (dinner time with my 4 year old twins by the way) and then is going to short me on my gift? Well I got the other $25 gift card and I am going to be calling bueno neighbor to let them know that I am on to their bullshit. There are PLENTY of other water purification and ionization systems out there that cost 1/4 the price. Don't be ffoled by this Berkshire Hathway SCAM!!!

We had a similiar experience last night. We were told we won a Las Vegas vacation but there was no mention of it at all when they came to do the demonstration. Also, the person got upset with us when we declined his offer. It may or may not be a good water system, but their sales strategy definetely SUCKS!
